My experience with Trisha as my realtor was a positive experience from the initial meeting. She was very optimistic about the house and the property. She made me feel as if I would not have any problem selling. I was ecstatic to hear that because the previous realtor I had considered was very negative and had nothing good to say. We relocated from Florida and we met a few different realtors before we finally had the pleasure to meet Trish at her office. She is the real deal! We do not spend words that easily since we are very demanding when it comes to relationships in general. We immediately felt she was in control and on top of our requests we never felt just one of her clients she made us feel exclusive! Our situation was actually even more difficult not only during this tough market but since we were remote and we didn't have the chance to visit properties in person. We needed a trustworthy agent who really worked with us. Well we can say that we were guided and supported from the beginning. We got full reports for each property we selected and Trish helped us reviewing each little detail not only for the property but also the surrounding areas. She actually goes through the home with you and looks for any potential issues that may come up later (either during the home inspection or possibly even after you purchase the house) so that you aren't caught off guard and can make informed decisions. She provides support throughout the entire process. She even followed up with me after my purchase and scheduled move in date to see how things were going. I contacted Trish nearly a year ago when I was living in Washington DC to start the house hunt before I retired. Then, I was not sure where in the Charlotte area I wanted to live. With her thoughtful suggestions, we weighed homes in upstate South Carolina, Lake Norman area, and then downtown Charlotte, before narrowing our choice to Matthews. I appreciate how she pays attention to the details and how she shared her unvarnished views of each the house we considered. Even after the sale, she continued to provide valuable insights on professional service providers (painters, floor and tile layers, heating and air conditioning contacts and handymen). This made it a snap to schedule with reputable people—a big deal since previously I had no familiarity with those kinds of service nor people that provided them. I think the biggest challenge in identifying a good realtor is finding someone who will truly listen. Trisha and I met initially and she knew my realistic goals pricing and financial status. This was important so as to not waste anyone's time. We were building a new home and really needed the timing to work out with the sale/purchase. She delivered. She has helped several of our family and friends purchase properties as well. Trish recently helped us find a perfect lake house in this crazy market. A little background... we had very specific needs in our search. I think most Realtors would have told us we were being unreasonable or too picky but not Trish. She was always available and never seemed to mind the many wild goose chases we brought her on.
